OUR MISSION +
Our mission is to fight injustice
by standing in the gap where few are willing to go.
We do this by fighting HUMAN TRAFFICKING at its source,
PROVIDING EMERGENCY RELIEF and by bringing
JOY, HOPE, + LOVE to those in broken places.
OUR VISION +
We envision a world where Christian’s are at the frontlines
of the worlds most tragic issues.
…when a family in Ethiopia is displaced and malnourished, that their first thought would be…
The Christians are coming.
…that when a little girl is being sold for sex and used for child pornography, that she would believe…
The Christians are coming.
Because God has called them and given them his word to
+Free the oppressed
+Feed the hungry
+Heal the sick
And make disciples that repeat the above.
We believe in chasing a vision that is massive but also attainable.
And we believe that it is possible within our lifetime for the world to know that…
The Christians are coming.
OUR VALUES +
Laying our lives down for our brothers + sisters.
We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.
1 JOHN 3:16
Love God +
love others.
Jesus replied, “You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important, Love your neighbor as yourself.”
MATTHEW 22:37-39
Caring for orphans + widows in their distress.
Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.
JAMES 1:27
FAQS+
-
The needs in the underserved countries we work in significantly outnumber the capacity of the local response. Because of this, the local law enforcement relies heavily on the evidence gathering, undercover investigation, and network building of NGO’s to help fight human trafficking.
As foreigners, we have the privilege of being able to either play “clueless foreigner” or foreign business person and can often get away with more than the locals can. This gives us the ability to go places locals may not feel comfortable going and create relationships without suspicion with our targets.
Rather than either us or them, we like to unite and work together as the body of Christ, each using the gifts and skills God has entrusted to us. -
Full time staff at a counter trafficking organization stationed near where the injustice is happening, are inherently at great risk because the surrounding community is aware of the work they are preforming to keep people free. We want the community to know that they are there to bring hope and a place to turn to for those who have become victims and and to let it be known to those in the wrong that this type of injustice will not be tolerated.
On the other hand. The risk these staff would have to undertake to preform a detailed in person investigation dramatically increases the danger to their safety, family, or their organization. This often bars them from being able to gain some specific intel that we as outsiders are able to gather. This is often the missing link in these cases.
We partner with local counter-trafficking organizations in the target country and help fill those gaps. The gaps we continually see are more kinetic, often being in person intelegence gathering or surveillance. For us to be able to slip in and slip out in a two week period eliminates the danger of the local organization jeopardizing the stability and sustainability they have worked to build.
We need each other. We need their intimate knowledge with the issues, and their long term relationships with the local law enforcement; they need a team to help get evidence of injustices happening which may be outside their scope. -
We have consistently found that a strong focus on meeting the needs of larger organizations by being a “gap filler” or “chain-link connector” to advance the efficiency or efficacy of trafficking cases is very helpful.
We work with other organizations who intimately know the problems and roadblocks they are facing within the contexts of the location, culture, and local laws. They know what it would take to stop local crime syndicates but are limited in certain steps of the execution.
These organizations know what would move the needle specifically because they feel the impact when they arent able to do so. When tasked we help clear these roadblocks so they can get back to doing what they do best.
We are not trying to go into places and assert new ways of doing things. We know that this may further fracture the collective efforts to fight trafficking in these target countries.
Rather our aim is to link arms and move the needle together, doing what we are uniquely qualified to do, while championing others to do the same. -
We believe that Christians should be at the front lines of the worlds most tragic issues.
We are driven by this because we know how much our God cares about each and every one of the individuals affected.
Jesus gave his life for us and we believe that we also should lay down our life for others.

Founder/Director
Lane Terzieff is a revolutionary: the kind who believes that through the white noise of a chaotic modern world, God has called his followers into Activism and Adventure.
“Being a Christian is the least boring thing on the planet,” Lane says frankly. “And maybe sometimes going into the mission field may have to look more like an action movie.”
…This speaker, missionary, and artist is no stranger to action. The son of a cowboy and a hippie, Lane Terzieff left his native Wyoming as a teenager, embarking on a journey to learn everything he could about music, film, business, public service, and what it looks like to be a faith-full human. That journey has led him through over 30 countries, using everything from bringing skateboards into North Korea to sneaking onto red carpets to talk about his faith with people like Kanye West and Katy Perry.
There’s nothing that Lane won’t try when it comes to creating new ways to reach kids with hope, whether it includes stunts (he was a stuntman on Sharknado 3 and Z Nation), action sports, or wild genre-bending dance music. That radically adventurous spirit was emboldened in 2016 when Lane was sitting in church as a massive earthquake struck Nepal.
“The pastor said, ‘Don’t pray for something you’re not willing to be the answer to,’” Lane recalls. “I felt I had to book the next flight out, with what little money I had, to go help.”
That catalyzed Lane Terzieff’s shift to humanitarian work — work he’d soon be joined in by his wife, Cary, who he married in 2017. The couple spent time living and working in Southeast Asia, making music and serving marginalized populations. Over time, their work crystallized into the explosive pop band Trampolines, which donates 100% of its profits to the Terzieffs’ global mission work, under their organization for fellow faith-in-action do-ers of the word, UNIT+E Response Team.
Lane has served refugees in Ukraine, Syria, Myanmar, Ethiopia and beyond. He’s gone on undercover missions to disrupt human trafficking in Southeast Asia and Latin America. He’s brought humanitarian aid and love into the Middle East and Africa. And he’s spent time with, and prayed for countless desperate teenagers who need to know that there’s hope.
One of Lane’s life verses has empowered the adventures: “Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress.” (James 1:27)
Lane’s story and his actions spur on everyone who hears him: “Whether it’s in your neighborhood or across the world, do something crazy. Like the people of the Bible did. Get fed up enough with the state of the world around you that you go out with love and change it.”
Lane has been trained in Emergency Medical by Remote Medical in Washington state where he obtained his EMT license, Remote EMT certification, and is a certified U.S. Coast Guard Medical Person in Charge. He has training in a number of tactical skills and convoy driving through his time with Free Burma Rangers in Iraq, Syria and Burma, Scuba Diving (PADI), and has undergone extensive 1 year vettings through counter human trafficking agencies in which he was required to do multiple background checks, interviews, psychological tests and personality tests.

Cary Terzieff's journey is a testament to the transformative power of faith, redemption, and the unwavering belief in the potential for positive change. Born and raised in the vast landscapes of Wyoming within a Christian household, Cary's early years were marked by a sense of disconnect from her faith. Despite her roots, she found herself entangled in the web of addiction, grappling with the dark forces of drugs and alcohol.
Her path took a radical turn when, in a profound encounter with God, she met a woman who asked to pray for her in a gas station bathroom. The woman spent three hours that day telling Cary about God's love that transcended her struggles and had a purpose for her life. Cary decided a couple months later that she was tired of running from God and living in addiction. She asked God to lead her life, and she never looked back. Three weeks into her newfound sobriety, fate intervened, and she met Lane Terzieff, who would become her husband and lifelong partner in a shared mission.
United by their faith and a deep desire to make a positive impact, Cary and Lane embarked on a journey as missionaries and musicians. Their travels took them across the globe, seeking opportunities to extend a helping hand to those in need. Their experiences ignited a passion within Cary – a fervent commitment to alleviating the suffering of others.
Today, Cary dedicates her time to touring the United States and beyond with her band, Trampolines, using the universal language of music to connect with people's hearts. Cary's personal journey through addiction fuels her advocacy for individuals battling similar struggles. She passionately speaks about the hope that faith can bring to those trapped in the throes of addiction, emphasizing that redemption is always within reach. Alongside her musical pursuits, Cary is now a driving force behind Unit+E alongside her husband Lane. The organization's mission is clear: to demonstrate the love and hope of Jesus Christ through both words and actions.
A significant portion of Cary's efforts are directed towards serving children and families affected by conflict in war zones. With a heart desperate to see hurt people find hope, she tirelessly works alongside Lane to deliver essential supplies such as food and medicine to those who have lost everything and to deliver an essential message – that amidst the chaos, there is hope, and there is joy.
In her unwavering commitment to the principles of evangelism and serving, Cary Terzieff strives to stand as a beacon of hope. She continues to amplify the message that no one is alone, everyone is loved, and regardless of the circumstances, God has a plan for every life. Cary's life is a living testimony to the transformative power of faith and the boundless capacity for positive change when driven by love and a steadfast belief in the goodness of humanity.
Cary has been trained in Emergency Medical by Remote Medical in Washington state where she obtained her EMT license, Remote EMT certification, and is a certified U.S. Coast Guard Medical Person in Charge. She has also spent time running multiple Aftercare programs for victims of human trafficking and children in areas effected by war zone trauma.
