UNIT+E was founded in 2020 by Lane + Cary Terzieff after more than a decade of partnering alongside other organizations and humanitarian efforts in SE Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Clearly recognizing the gap where many organizations and government efforts met roadblocks (not just metaphorically but literally) UNIT+E was founded to respond to some of the world’s most difficult situations. From undercover operations to rescue victims of trafficking to distributing resources in the midst of war torn communities, stepping in to serve as activists in the areas where few are willing to venture into is at the heart of the organization.
