The foundation of our model at Unit+E is that this issue cannot be combatted in isolation.

Anyone in this community is aware that there are two extremes that must be avoided.

The first is often referred to as “the cowboy” they are people that care deeply about this issue but aren’t well informed about how trafficking as a crime works and how it can be most effectively combatted. This often leads to this group at best being ineffective or at worst making things harder for local long term players.

The other is when large organizations severely restrict or do not allow teams to do in person information gathering because they fear retaliation could risk their safety or the longevity of their organization. These people often understand the problem very well but typically have missing links or gaps to information that would lead to the arrests of those committing these crimes.

We exist to stand in those gaps.
